Join us in this approximately 600-acre park with a wonderful and interesting mature forest with regenerating areas, and enjoy the views from different perspectives that the six suspension bridges offer while we learn about the interrelationship in this diverse ecosystem and other attractions. Be part of the search for local fauna, plants, and natural history with your tour guide.

Arenal Volcano Hike

Let’s briefly review how volcanoes are formed while we walk through the area affected by the largest eruption of 1968, learn part of the history of the volcano, lavas, and volcanic products, and hopefully, animals that, with the passage of time, return to what was once their home.

Fortuna Waterfall

The Rio Fortuna Waterfall Biological Reserve is a non-profit entity that reinvests its income to benefit the same community. After a descent of 500 steps among the area’s lush vegetation, you will be able to immerse yourself in the fresh, crystalline waters of this impressive waterfall, with almost 70 meters of fall through ancient lava flows of great geological value.

Join us on this walk on a six-kilometer linear trail within the Tenorio Volcano National Park and discover this interesting optical phenomenon and its reasons, the opportunity to see animals that are common in a forest in transition, as well as the attractions in this path called “mysteries of the Tenorio”.
